Preparing the Area for Assembly

Clear the area and set the stakes

Clear the area where the gaga pit will be assembled of any debris. Set up the stakes that indicate the outside perimeter of the pit by pressing them into the ground.

Attach the plastic connectors to the two adjacent panels that form a corner to secure them together. Repeat this step for all four corners of the pit.

Secure the sides

Connect the two adjacent panels on either side of the gaga pit using the plastic connectors. Secure all sides of the gaga pit to form a complete circle.

Filling the Pit

Add feed/play sand

Fill the bottom of the pit with feed or play sand until the pit is about two-thirds full.

Getting Started

Gaga ball pits are a great way to add a fun and interactive experience to any yard, playground, or recreational event. They are typically made up of a PVC frame that is padded with foam, and filled with small plastic balls. Assembly of a gaga ball pit is a simple process that just about anyone can do. In order to get your gaga ball pit up and running, you’ll need the following: screws, hammer, drill, power saw (optional), and the gaga ball pit kit.

Assembling the Frame

Once you have all of the necessary tools, you’ll need to begin assembling the frame of the gaga ball pit. Begin by laying out the frame pieces on the ground. Then connect the pieces using screws. Make sure all of the joints are flush with each other. If necessary, you may need to trim the frame pieces to get the perfect fit. Use the power saw for this task.

Attaching the Padding

Once the frame of the gaga ball pit is assembled, it’s time to attach the padding. Lay out the foam padding and tightly wrap it around the frame. Secure it with the provided fasteners. Be sure to evenly distribute the padding to ensure that the frame is evenly padded.

Adding the Balls

To add the balls, simply pour them into the frame. The balls should fill the frame to an appropriate level – not too much or too little. It may take several attempts to get the right amount of balls, so don’t be afraid to experiment.

Playing Gaga Ball

Now that your gaga ball pit is assembled, it’s time to start playing. The rules for gaga ball vary depending on the game you are playing. Generally though, the object of the game is to avoid being hit by the ball or being the last one standing. Enjoy!
